"At the core of my teaching and coaching is helping people to find the connection between their musical voice and their physical body. It’s very exciting for me to see students articulate increasingly subtle and profound aspects of themselves through music."
- MW

Marguerite lends a compassionate approach and a critical ear to her work as a vocal coach and piano teacher for both professionals and amateurs.  Working with a combination of intuition, keen observation, years of training as well as a wealth of performance experience, Marguerite brings students into a deeper understanding of the connection between their personality and their art, between their body and their instrument – playfully and passionately inspiring them to develop their own unique voice as musicians.

Marguerite offers personalized training in beginner and advanced piano, voice and music theory, and can also meet more specific needs such as audition/role preparation, improvisation, composition techniques, musical dramaturgy, spoken voice training and even (basic) accordion lessons! Monthly group classes as well as a bi-annual public cabaret offer opportunities for performance practice.

Each year, Marguerite coaches students from around the world at the Advanced International Voice Workshop at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta.  She also works for the University of British Columbia as an adjunct professor, teaching creative voice.
